西柚:最近超市西柚都便宜,加上西柚是較少農藥的水果,用來做甜品或榨果汁是上佳之選!

白酒:將家中剩餘的 Riesling 加進去,無浪費!
Presentation:把西柚切開一半,將西柚肉慢慢挖出,保留西柚皮,底部批平少許,就可以放穏啦。

Summer at Hong Kong is so sticky, everyday I just want some cold drinks or dessert to cool me down. So here is one simple and quick solution: grapefruit sorbet!
There are only 4 ingredients in this dessert:
black sugar: This is the sugar commonly available from Taiwan, and now I use them for everyday cooking or coffees.
White wine: We have a leftover half bottle white wine at the fridge, and this is the good chance to clear it!
Grapefruit: They are in the season I guess, so the price is rather low now. I have plenty of them in the fridge for morning smoothies.
Orange: I added 1 orange to balance the bitter flavor of grapefruit.
Inspired by cookbooks, I reserved the grapefruit peels for presentation. Cut a bit of the bottoms to make them sit still.
